Hello! I'm Randy Yang
I am a medical imaging scientist and serial entrepreneur who aim to improve modern medicine by bringing novel medical imaging technologies into clinical practice. I have developed multiple MRI technologies that led to patents, high-impact journal publications, and book chapters. In the past decade, I have worked with major industrial partners including Siemens and General Electrics to translate research ideas into products. Since 2018, I joined VoxelCloud (an industrial pioneer of medical imaging Artificial Intelligence (A.I.)) to lead the development of A.I. products for Radiology applications. In 2019, I co-funded LUCIDITY MEDICAL to provide engineering solutions for challenging MRI environments. I hold a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from UCLA. I received my M.S. from Northwestern University in Illinois and B.S. from Chiaotung University in Taiwan.
